What to prepare before the technician arrives

Stay home for the full appointment window
The technician may arrive at any time during the agreed window. If nobody is home, the visit must be rescheduled; a new appointment can take up to a week.

The contract holder must be present
The connection can only be completed for the person who signed the provider contract. They must be present and sign the documents on the technician’s tablet.

Keep your lease agreement nearby
If the previous tenant has not disconnected the service at your address, the provider may ask for a photo of the lease showing the tenant’s name, address and landlord’s signature.

Agree on bringing fiber into the apartment
If fiber reaches the building but not the apartment, the owner’s consent may be needed to make a small hole in the wall. The technician can contact the owner if required.

Arrange access to the technical room
The technician may need access to the provider’s panel in the basement or a technical room. If you have the keys, keep them ready.
